Meet Marcus Volkov and the Crew

Founder and Lead Pavement Marking Contractor

Marcus Volkov founded Line Painting Toronto after more than 20 years of GTA commercial pavement marking. He started in 2003 with a hand-held line striper and a Graco 350 restriping Mississauga strip malls, added hot-applied thermoplastic in 2010 after his first warehouse forklift contract, and pickleball and multi-sport courts in 2018. He trains every Toronto crew on OTM Book 11, AODA and OSHA warehouse spec.

The business still runs the way Marcus learned the trade: count every stall, quote it in writing, show up when the lot is empty and leave lines that read clearly at night. The difference today is the equipment and the training. Crews run Graco LineLazer 3900 and 5900 airless rigs, thermoplastic kettles and preformed tape, and every crew member is trained on Ontario Traffic Manual Book 11, AODA accessible parking and OSHA warehouse safety spec.

How We Got Here

  1. 2003

    Hand-held striper and a Graco 350

Marcus Volkov starts restriping Mississauga strip malls, one lot at a time, mostly at night.

  2. 2010

    Hot-applied thermoplastic

The first warehouse forklift contract shows paint cannot survive turning zones. Thermoplastic kettles join the fleet.

  3. 2018

    Pickleball and multi-sport courts

As pickleball takes off across the GTA, regulation courts and colour-separated overlays become a core service.

  4. Today

    Trained, standards-led crews

Every crew is trained on OTM Book 11, AODA and OSHA warehouse spec, running Graco LineLazer 3900 and 5900 rigs.

Right Material, Every Zone
