EV Charging Station Markings, Start to Finish
EV charging station markings in Toronto are growing fast as plazas, offices and condo boards add chargers ahead of the 2035 EV mandate and Toronto Green Standard Version 4 requirements for new buildings. Chargers without markings get blocked. We supply the complete package so the stalls work from day one.
Each package covers the EVSE parking designation: the stall outline or safety green coating with non-skid aggregate additive, the EV plug-and-car stencil, directional arrows, EV CHARGING ONLY anti-ICE markings and accessibility signage. Single stations run $800-$1,500. Multi-station condo retrofits run $5K-$30K.
Paint, Coating or Preformed Tape?
Most EV stalls get a waterborne or high-build safety green coating with a white outline and stencil. At high-turnover retail chargers, preformed tape symbols last longer. We quote the options side by side and explain where each makes sense.
Accessible EV Spaces
Accessibility matters at chargers. Accessible EV spaces need a clear access aisle and AODA signage so drivers with disabilities can reach the plug. We lay them out with the same care as handicap parking painting.
Condo Retrofits
Condo boards adding chargers across several levels get a phased plan, resident notices and documents for the reserve fund file. Many combine the EV package with a full strata and condo line painting restripe, and add stall numbers through stencil painting.
As a specialist Toronto line painting company, we mark EV stalls across the GTA, especially in Richmond Hill and downtown Toronto condos. Request a per-station quote.
